About Us

Alfabia is a set of houses, a garden and an orchard located in Bunyola. In the middle of the Sierra de Tramuntana, which is an intangible heritage site designated by UNESCO since 2011.

If you’re interested in exploring gardens steeped in history in Mallorca, surrounded by the nature of the Serra de Tramuntana, this is the place. Perfect to relax, disconnect from noise, immerse yourself in nature, and enjoy a pleasant, refreshing day. It’s almost a holistic and unique experience.

We invite you to stroll through the gardens and discover their history at your own pace, in true “slow travel” style—explore every corner of the house and gardens, the oil mill (tafona), the Baroque façade with its columns, the central courtyard or clastra, the irrigation system, the fountain, the Arabic‑style lily pond, the pergola with water features, a visit to the animals that live with us, or a relaxing break at our kiosk.

Blending the experience of a botanical garden with that of historic heritage and the well‑being of a Mallorca mindfulness retreat. Walk along the waterway and its fountains, visit the rose path and the Jardinet de la Reina, so‑called for hosting the visit of Spanish Queen Isabel II to Mallorca in the mid‑19th century.
